The Oregon Tuna Classic
It all started in 2005 when a small group of fisherman joined together to steer their passion for fishing to a cause that would help feed the hungry. What culminated from this idea was the first Oregon Tuna Classic. Over the years others have recognized this cause and have joined to help create what the OTC is today. Each year the tournament has seen exponential growth. The cash contribution to the Oregon Food Bank has nearly doubled from year-to-year.
From our sponsors who have donated cash and products to our anglers who participate and donate their catch, The Oregon Tuna Classic is making a difference. All who participate, including our board members, volunteer their time and energy allowing all the proceeds to benefit the Oregon Food Bank. This is truly an opportunity for participants and sponsors alike to give back to their community through an activity they love.
We invite you to join us in this cause by participating in the Oregon Tuna Classic 2010 Tournament series.
