OREGON TUNA CLASSIC Tournament series

Welcome to the 2010 Oregon Tuna Classic Tournament Series registration. Teams are competing to catch up to the five biggest tuna in aggregate weight during the tournament hours. All teams MUST complete the registration application and have paid their entry fees prior to the dead line for each event. A late entry fee of $100 per each event will apply for late registration. See late registration dead line dates. Teams that are competing in all for events must pay by July 12th before midnight or a late entry late entry fee of $150.00 will apply if registered after the deadline date of July 15th, 2010.

Rules

It is the sole responsibility of the participating Captain, crew and angler(s) to obtain a copy, read, know, understand and abide by the tournament's rules, including but not limited to, any final instructions that may be announced during the captains meetings. Read More...

Newport/Depoe Bay – July 18

Newport is the kickoff for the Oregon Tuna Classic Tournament event series. This year's entrants will be departing from both the Port of Depoe Bay, as well as the Port of Newport. Ilwaco – August 1

The port community of Ilwaco on the Columbia River was named for a local Indian chief, ‘Elowahka Jim’. The town features a busy marina, a thriving art community, and some of the finest salmon and sturgeon fishing in the country. Art walks sponsored by the area’s many art galleries, an annual cranberry festival, antique shops, a Saturday fresh air farmer’s market during the summer, two lighthouses, and the Lewis and Clark National & State Historical Park provide delights for both locals and visitors.
